The films in the MEF collection encourage critical thinking about the social, political, and cultural impact of American mass media. With a special focus on representations of gender and race, and the effect these representations have on identity and culture, MEF films are especially well-suited for use in high school English, Media Literacy, Health, History, and other classes. We offer 1 or 3 year hosted streaming subscriptions to our collections.

We have three streaming collection options available for high schools and K-12 schools:

  • The MEF Basic Channel (34 essential MEF films)
  • The MEF Plus Channel (62 titles well-suited for use in high schools)
  • The MEF Premium Channel (125+ titles)
