Media Education Foundation Accessibility Statement:

Commitment to Conformance

MEF is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for all people of all abilities. We aspire to continually improve the user experience, and apply relevant and accessibility standards to enhance the user experience.

Conformance Status

The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) defines requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. It defines three levels of conformance: Level A, Level AA, and Level AAA. The Media Education Foundation platform and content has been through rigorous accessibility testing and is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 levels A, AA, and AAA. Partially conformant means that some parts of the content do not fully conform to the accessibility standard.

Information about accessibility, including our most current accessibility conformance report (or VPAT), is publicly available upon request or via our website. You can download our updated VPAT 2.5 (updated October 2024) as a PDF by filling in the form below.
