Pink Floyd’s Roger Waters & MEF on “Democracy Now”

Legendary musician and human rights activist Roger Waters joined MEF Executive Director Sut Jhally this morning on Democracy Now! to discuss our documentary The Occupation of the American Mind.

Waters, the co-founder of Pink Floyd, narrated The Occupation of the American Mind, which looks at pro-Israel public relations efforts within the United States.

Over the past few years, Waters has emerged as one of the music world’s most outspoken critics of Israel’s illegal occupation of Palestinian land, and an ardent defender of Palestinian human rights. Since the release of The Occupation of the American Mind, he has made multiple appearances with Jhally to help promote the film and raise awareness about the occupation.

This was their first appearance together on Democracy Now!
