Consignment Policy
MEF grants consignment terms on a limited basis, usually to groups that are reselling our DVDs at an event and who would like to make sure they have enough for sale. At MEF’s discretion, a re-seller discount may also be offered to the group.
Setting Up Consignment Terms
Call 1.800.897.0089 and mention that you are interested in consignment terms. You will be sent a letter to sign and return and an arrangement will be set up. Please see below for terms and conditions.
Terms & Conditions
I. In order to provide consignment terms, MEF requires a credit card on file. We will not charge this card until the consignment terms are due. If the customer prefers to pay their balance with a check or money order, they should make sure to send this to arrive by their due date. If MEF does not receive payment by other means by the due date, MEF will charge the card on file for the full amount owed.
II. Films on consignment are due back in 30 days. Longer consignment terms may be granted to some groups solely at the discretion of MEF. MEF will ship up to 50 DVDs on consignment. Any DVDs above this number must be pre-paid.
III. If the customer has any unsold merchandise at the end of their consignment period, they may either:
1. Keep and purchase the remaining DVDs.
2. Send any unsold DVDs back to MEF in 100% re-sellable condition before the end of the consignment period along with payment for the DVDs sold. We will adjust the invoice balance accordingly. The customer is fully responsible for the costs of shipping the return merchandise to MEF.
IV. If MEF has not received payment or merchandise returns by the end of the consignment period, MEF will charge the credit card on file. The customer then has an additional 30-day grace period during which any unsold merchandise may be returned in 100% re-sellable condition and MEF will accept its return for a full refund. Shipping the return merchandise to MEF is at cost to the customer. Sales are final after the 30-day grace period expires.
